Experience

A lifelong horror fan, Jessica began her writing career when she founded the horror entertainment site We Who Walk Here in 2017. She began freelancing in 2020, writing for sites such as Nightmarish Conjurings, Film Cred, and Certified Forgotten. She has since expanded her bylines to include Daily Grindhouse, Dread Central, Inverse, Fangoria, and more. Jessica was a part of the Sundance Press Inclusion Initiative in 2022, and she has covered several film festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, and South by Southwest. She joined /Film in 2022 and has been thrilled to write about her film and television passions.

Education

Jessica has Bachelor's degrees in French and English. Her love of language led her to become a writer, and her love of cinema led her to channel that writing into film criticism.
